Women’s Wellness/Preconception Care

At MDM  we provide full scope women's health services. We approach women's wellness through addressing the 5 basic pillars of health; nutrition, movement, sleep, mindfulness, and relationships/community. We perform annuals, pap smears, abnormal paps, vaginal issues, preconception care, common women's health problems such as PCOS, Irregular periods, heavy periods, fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, perimenopause, and menopause.

Maternity Care

At MDM we approach pregnancy care much like we treat wellness. Addressing maternal health issues, disease prevention, and health promotion. We utilize group pregnancy education alongside individualized care to help mothers navigate motherhood and prepare for birth. We use a collaborative approach where the majority of your health care is provided by the traditional midwifery model of care, with specialist such as OBGYN and MFM readily available for consult or treatment if needed. We use nutrition, sleep, movement, mindfulness, and community to help each woman walk through the transitions of motherhood.

How to make empowered choices for you and your family. Our goal of birth prep is to prepare you mentally for birth and making informed decisions on the big day.

Post-Partum Care

At MDM we know that postpartum lasts a lifetime. We start preparing our mothers through our group postpartum prep and birth prep to help our patients have the tools and resources they need to not only survive, but thrive in the postpartum period. Through individualized care, and screening we set realistic expectations for what the postpartum period looks like. We see our patients at 24 hours, 2 weeks, and 6 weeks. Through the helping mothers campaign many insurance providers have extended the postpartum period for one year to allow for continuous and extended coverage for mothers in the postpartum. We are committed to addressing all of social/behavioral changes as well as the physical and emotional changes that come along with motherhood.

Mental Health

The mind is a very powerful organ and a large part of a person's health. We believe in treating behavioral health concerns as seriously as we treat other medical issues. We want to do that in a warm, supportive environment where the patient feels safe and can share their issues.

We work with a team of healthcare providers to provide complete care, from medication to therapy to care coordination, a team approach assures patients get the results they require.
